Plenty of people get the compass backwards on this one. San Leandro is the neighbor above Hayward, not below it, which means every trip to our door runs down the freeway rather than up it. Get on I-880 heading south, roll past the Hesperian Boulevard interchange, and keep going — we are further along than that, over on the flat industrial side of Hayward off Depot Road.
